with the 'bass' notes playing OFF the beat, on the 'and' part of each 
beat. Sounds quite
cool with moderate overdrive but plucked gently (accent the tune 

slightly), as the notes
sort of run into one another - closest I could get to a 'cello on the 
guitar!
