There's not a correct tab for Thurston's part anywhere online.
I play in a Sonic Youth Cover band in Manchester UK.

Worked out after hours of watching Thurston play this on youtube clips.

Tuning: CCEBGD - At the very least you're best putting an A string as 
your 6 string.
As a general rule for SY tunes you're best putting G at least 0.17s as 
your 3 highest strings.

 Up or down by these many semi tones : Eu8 Au3 Du2 Gu4 Bd4 Ed2
