The Biggest Lie - Elliott Smith
E|E|E|E|E|E|E|E|------------------------------------------------------
E|---------------------||||||-||
Tabbed by: Yoshima
Tuning: DGCFD - This is a whole step down on each string. This is the
way
Elliott plays, however it can be played in standard as
long
as you can sing that high. I personally play it in
standard
with a capo on the 6th or 7th so I can sing it lower.
I've tabbbed as much detail as necessary, the vital structure is here
but
I've obviously left out any slight variations and unimportant fill-in
notes
as it would just get messy. It's easy to add the extra fill-in notes
once
you've got the main rhythm and structure down.

The chords below are a mixture of strumming and fingerpicking,
The rhythm is more important than which strings are strummed/picked.
